A stock and portfolio tracker, something like Google Finance. Anyone can make an account. I built it after pulling a year of my own supermarket receipts out of Gmail and realising I had no idea what I actually spent money on.
Signing up takes a username and a password — no email address. Passwords are stored hashed, your portfolio stays on my own server, and none of it is sold or shared.

I ran multi-GPU mining rigs on open frames — building them, tuning the cards, managing the heat and the power draw, and working out at what electricity price the whole thing stopped making sense. It's the reason I know hardware from the inside rather than from spec sheets.
